On 4th June, the usually industrious BPH Headquarters turned into a buzzing hub of excitement for their first-ever Open Day — and it didn’t disappoint.
From towering diggers to powerful attachments, visitors of all ages found something to enjoy. Highlights included life-size and miniature digger challenges, live machinery demos, exclusive one-day-only offers, and even a vintage ice cream van that brought a touch of nostalgia and a lot of smiles, courtesy of Holm Filters.

Over 100 guests from near and far explored BPH’s flagship HQ, walking through an impressive showcase of excavator attachments and heavy-duty machinery. For construction pros and curious newcomers alike, it was a one-stop shop for discovering everything BPH has to offer — and then some.
Throughout the day, live workshop demonstrations gave guests a behind-the-scenes look at the power and precision behind BPH’s industry-leading attachments. But it wasn’t just about admiring from the sidelines — the crowd got hands-on.
Let the Digger Games Begin
The Infamous Mini Excavator Challenge turned up the heat with guests going head-to-head with some fierce competition for the prize: their very own remote-controlled digger, generously provided by Brown & Brown.

Meanwhile, Greenshields JCB led the charge in the Operator Challenge. This test of skill had contestants carefully arranging tyres to the matching cone using a PRODEM Selector Grab. With a Model JCB up for grabs, everyone brought their A-game. Multiple machines displayed their functionality and power through the day.
Over 100 visitors enjoyed the day, discovering all elements of BPH HQ and got insights to the services and expertise on offer. With refreshments on tap, a delicious BBQ and all the activities you would think that’s enough.
BPH were proud to be supporting Lighthouse the Construction Charity and donated £50 for every attachment sold on the day as well as promoting their work and fundraising. The combined efforts from the day totalled £750 which will help them to continue their support for construction workers. It was great to give essential support from such a fantastic fun day.
With a winning mix of fun, education, community spirit, and industry expertise, this will become an annual event and is planned to grow and become the ‘go to’ show for those local to the area, and those not so local. Who knows what BPH will come up with for the next one!
