NFDC Appoints Brian Carroll as Operations Director

The National Federation of Demolition Contractors is pleased to announce the appointment of Brian Carroll as NFDC Operations Director, a key role created to support the Federation’s continued development, strengthen member engagement, and help drive operational excellence across the organisation.

In his new role as Operations Director, Brian will play a central part in supporting the delivery of NFDC’s strategic priorities, with a strong focus on improving operational systems, enhancing member services, supporting high standards across the Federation, and helping to ensure the NFDC continues to provide clear value to its members and the wider demolition sector.

Brian will support the NFDC leadership team, members and key stakeholders to support continuous improvement across the Federation’s activities. His remit will include helping to strengthen operational delivery, improve internal processes, support the development of member-facing services, and contribute to projects that promote competence, compliance, safety, quality and professionalism across demolition.

The appointment reflects NFDC’s continued commitment to raising standards across the industry and ensuring the Federation remains responsive, effective and well-positioned to support members in an evolving demolition and construction landscape.

Brian has also been appointed as Training Manager at the National Demolition Training Group, further strengthening the connection between NFDC’s operational priorities and the industry’s training and competence agenda.

Adrian Corrigan, President of NFDC, said:

“Brian brings with him a strong understanding of the demolition industry, our members, and the importance of maintaining high standards across everything we do as a Federation.

His appointment as Operations Director is an important step in strengthening NFDC’s operational delivery and supporting the continued development of services that bring real value to our members. Brian’s knowledge, practical experience and commitment to competence will be a great asset as we continue to move the Federation forward.

On behalf of the NFDC, I am delighted to welcome Brian into this role and look forward to working closely with him.

Brian’s additional appointment as Training Manager at NDTG will support the ongoing alignment between industry operations, workforce development and competence. This will help ensure that training continues to reflect the real needs of demolition contractors, clients and the wider sector.”

Speaking about his appointment, Brian Carroll said:

“I welcome the opportunity to support the Federation at such an important time for the industry.

The NFDC has a vital role to play in promoting high standards, supporting members and helping the wider construction sector understand what good demolition planning and delivery looks like. I look forward to fully supporting the Senior Leadership Team and members to build on the Federation’s strong foundations and help deliver practical improvements that benefit our membership and the industry as a whole.”

Brian’s appointment reinforces NFDC’s focus on strong leadership, operational improvement and continued support for members, as the Federation works to promote safe, competent and professional demolition practice across the UK.
